ClickOnce Application Download Notification
We have a ClickOnce Application app that originally was a small deployment package and then once installed it would download and install all of the support files. I use socketIO to track the download and install of the support files. This worked fine except with every update it would have to download and install everything again which is 33 meg in total size.
What I have done is created a core package that I have included in the ClickOnce deployment, this core package does not change much so it works well to put it in the deployment as it copies over with updates and doesn't download it again. The core package is 31 meg.
Is there some way to know when the user has started downloading the deployment package and the files listed in the manifest?
