Nameref to a chapter acting weird
i have a very weird behaviour with LaTeX and i can't really explain it. I have the following structure:
...
section{section c}
label{sec:a}
...text...
chapter{chapter 3}
label{chap:three}
...
Now at some point i am using nameref{chap:three}
which for some reason results in section c
instead of chapter 3
. It links to the correct chapter in the document tho and when using ref
it also displays the correct number.
What am i missing?

(1) welcome, (2) please provide at full but minimal example that, on your system, gives til behaviour every time. Then things are at lot easier for others to test

That "some reason" is only in your document. In a a empty book document pasting your code and adding thenameref
package, thenameref{chap:three}
work as expected. So without any additional clues it will be difficult to help. Please take some time to understand what is a minimal working example (MWE).
