When i close my laptop lid the laptop goes to hybernation. When i wake it up the keyboard is unresponsive

0

As the title says. Installation is Ubuntu 18.10 x64 with all the updates done. My laptop is a 2012 Sony Vaio SVE1513B1EW.
When it return from hibernation the mouse and clicks all work (both physical and virtual clicks) but the keyboard does not.
The weird thing is if i press "Login as another user" and go to the other login screen the keyboard works there, (and the numlock turns off for some reason).
What i tried putting inside /etc/defaut/grub so far without success:

i8042.nomux=1 i8042.reset nomodeset
i8042.kbdreset = 1
atkbd.reset i8042.nomux

Yes i do grub-update and reboot afterwards.

The output of

dmesg | grep i8042

is as follows

[    1.307270] i8042: PNP: PS/2 Controller [PNP030b:PS2K,PNP0f13:PS2M] at 0x60,0x64 irq 1,12
