I updated my laptop last week to ubuntu 18.10 and since then my laptop hasn't worked for me. Operating system isn't working and i use only linux on my laptop.
It shows this message at the end of the screen and sometimes - Hold until boot process finishes up.

Is there a way I can restore my laptop to the older operating system or remove the update?
I'm stuck and Ubuntu doesn't boot up any further .
Anyone out there who can help me find a solution to this problem? Or can provide a way so that i can access my files and copy them somehow?
