Camera and file upload works on most devices, but not LG?

I'm working on an ionic project where a user can use the camera to take a picture and upload to server. The feature works well on a number of phones we've tested on (Android) version. It also works well on iOS version. However one tester is getting a camera error on the LG phone. This seems device specific to me as other phones using the same OS are fine.

I'm using Ionic 3 with the Ionic Native Camera.

I'm thinking this is an environment issue specific to the device and not sure what I do.

Just wondering if others have run into this and how you handle troubleshooting.
