Xbox 360 controller(Ubuntu 18.04), xbox charger + receiver!

I don't know if i can ask this here, but i have a doubt, if i connect a xbox 360 controller using the charger cable(i don't have the battery) to a usb port, and at the same time use a xbox 360 receiver in another usb port, it will sync and work in Ubuntu 18.04 without any problem? thanks.
