Unable to selectTextOnFocus when secureTextEntry set to true in TextInput React Native

everyone. I am building a react native apps using crna and expo. I have some text input and one of them required a secure text entry which is password.



I set the selectTextOnFocus to true so that it will be easier for user to copy and paste their login info. Therefore, when I set selectTextOnFocus on the password field to true, it didn't work.



This is my code



<TextInput 

                        style={{marginBottom: 10, padding: 10, color:'#fff', borderRadius:25, backgroundColor:'rgba(255, 255, 255, 0.3)'}} 

                        secureTextEntry={true} placeholder="Password"

                        placeholderTextColor='#fff'

                        selectTextOnFocus={true}

                        underlineColorAndroid='transparent'

                        onChangeText={(text)=>this.updateValue(text, 'pass')}/>


The secure text is working but select text on focus is not. So I still cannot paste anything from clipboard to my password field. Can anyone help me, please?

I think I'm fairly happy with the spacing around "A chapter", so I'd really like titles without descenders (e.g. "Contents") to have the same vertical spacing as "A chapter" below the title.
