I installed Ubuntu a while back, and never managed to get the sound working. I downloaded the t100_B.state file as instructed on : http://www.jfwhome.com/2016/01/04/la...e-asus-t100ta/ and it did not work.
I googled around and found this https://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=2374383 saying they had the same problem. But I'm not missing UCM files as far as I can tell:
> ls /usr/share/alsa/ucm

broadwell-rt286 Manta-I2S skylake-rt286

I also tried speaker-test, the results are as follows:

speaker-test 1.1.3
