Inserting appendices with another preamble in my LaTeX project

I am writing my thesis in statistics and I'm therefore programming in R. My problem is when I include my R generated tex file in my latex project the whole outline is changed. I have used subfiles to insert my different chapters and I am wondering if it is possible to include a tex file in the appendix with a different preamble than the rest of my document without changing the rest of my document?

Welcome to TeX.Stackexchange! One possible approach could be to compile your appendix in a separate document and add it to your main document viapdfpages
. Don't worry about page numbers etc., they can be adjusted
