Nautilus (Files): Get focus on new tab when it is created

0

In Nautilus (Files), with a folder selected I press Ctrl+Intro and I get a new tab with selected folder but focus remains on first tab. Same behaviour when I use contextual menu folder. I need to use a shortcut o mouse click on new tab to get focus.

Is it possible to change behaviour to get focus on new tab without additional click over this?

Edit: Default behaviour in Ubuntu 18.04 (Gnome 3.18, Nautilus/Files 3.26) and Ubuntu 18.10 (Gnome 3.20, Nautilus/Files 3.26).

Adding your Ubuntu version and Nautilus version to the question would be helpful.

  • Ubuntu versions and GNOME versions don't match! Nautilus version instead of GNOME version would be more useful.
