LibreOffice Calc crashes in Ubuntu 18.04 [on hold]

I just updated yesterday (Nov. 11, 2018) to Ubuntu 18.04, from 16.04, and cannot seem to open LibreOffice Calc - when I selected it from Applications, everything crashed, and I got a green geometric fuzz pattern.
Will try other applications, but wanted to ask question before system crashes again.
Have found similar questions in the forum - which indicate "solved" but that does not seem to be true at this time.
Are there any fixes planned? - Thank you!
EDIT 2018 Nov. 16
Thank you S_Flash for your suggestion - but issue seems to be resolved:
- I tried a second time to launch LibreOffice Calc, and instead of the green geometric fuzz, I got an error message;
- I tried a third time, this time I believe by using Applications-Office-LibreOffice (opening the set) - Calc Spreadsheet, and Calc opened.
I tried again this evening to recheck before revisiting this forum to try to follow your suggestion - and successfully launched via clicking just on LibreOffice Calc.
So - not sure what caused or resolved it - but Calc seems to be up and running again.
Thank you.

We need to know more to help you. Can you please try run logs app from Applications menu and run LibreOffice Calc again and found in any logs tab something about LibreOffice errors?
