Update of original question:
Logging in to Mailspring.Message 'Enter pwd to unlock'. Retried, same result. Exit gave message 'Mailspring could not store your pwd securely. Make sure you have 'libsecret' installed and keyring present.
Opend terminal and typed '$ sudo apt install gnome-keyring'. Part of message'You already have the newest version of gnome-keyring (3.28.0.2-1ubuntu1.18.04.1).' Tried find libresecret and gnome keyring. Typed in terminal 'sudo apt install libsecret', resulted in message 'checking dependencies.Reading information. Can't find the package libsecret'. Feel I am running out of options. Appreciate all help.
Is this ok way too update the question?
I did use the same pwd for Kwallet and keyring during the installation of Kubuntu 16.04. It did work on both after inst. completed. Today it opens Kwallet, but gives error message on keyring. From googling it seems like password can't be reset. Any workaround or other ways?
