Laptop freezes when charging mostly

I have a Lenovo laptop that first was on Windows 10 and had constant freeze that needed hard restart to work again(with the button).

I decided to install Ubuntu as I thought that it was due to Windows but it still freezes from time to time mainly when charging.

I read that it may be due to overheating and that the solution is to reduce the amount - percentage of heat it accepts. How can I do something like that?
