CV with a colored sidebar on the left which contains a photo and some contact info

0

currently I'm using moderncv to create my resume. I like the casual style of it but I also want to add a colored sidebar which contains the photo and some contact information on the left side (of every page). The sections and all other things should remain untouched.

Do you have any solution for this? I tried to fix the problem for about 2 days using different approaches like multiple columns, minipages and so on..

Hope you can halp me

Welcome to TeX.SE! There are other classes out there using an sidebar for an cv. You should simply use another class (check on ctan) ... Tle layout of moderncv is not useful for this ...
