I used to get the error " sphinxtrain not found" , after i trained a scenario. So i instaled :

sudo apt-get install sphinxtrain

And now, after i train a scenario, i get this :

As the server compiled the model the following error occurred: Could
not setup model

Detail

/usr/bin/sphinxtrain -t default{c45fbad0-ca4d-4ff2-a7d4-d3cece16c5bd}
setup Sphinxtrain path: /usr/lib/sphinxtrain Sphinxtrain binaries
path: /usr/lib/sphinxtrain Setting up the database
default{c45fbad0-ca4d-4ff2-a7d4-d3cece16c5bd}

Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/bin/sphinxtrain", line
176, in main() File "/usr/bin/sphinxtrain", line 164, in main
setup(task) File "/usr/bin/sphinxtrain", line 54, in setup for line in
open(sphinxpath + "/etc/sphinx_train.cfg", "r"): IOError: [Errno 2] No
such file or directory: '/usr/lib/sphinxtrain/etc/sphinx_train.cfg'

Pehaps just a path issue, but i can't fix it.

the cfg file file exists in the path /usr/lib/x86_64-linux-gnu/sphinxtrain/etc

Im using ubuntu 17.04, wich dosent suport simon anymore, so i git clone it as instructed here :
