Symfony - query implement function data

0

I wrote a query that takes last 7 days and calculate spending for each day.

 public function getWeekly()
{
$result = $this->getTransactionRepository()
->createQueryBuilder('p')
->select('sum(p.amount)')
->where('p.transactionDate >= :end')
->setParameter('end', new DateTime('-7 days'))
->groupBy('p.transactionDate')
->getQuery()
->getResult(Query::HYDRATE_SCALAR);

return $result;
}

and it returns array results like so..

data": [
{
"1": "2"
},
{
"1": "10"
}
],

Problem is that I have other function with data that I need to implement with the query results I get above.

 private function getWeeklyData()
{
return [
'labels' => ['Mon', 'Tue', 'Wed', 'Thu', 'Fri', 'Sat', 'Sun'],
'data' => [0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0, 0]
];
}

So I am stuck, and have no idea where to begin. Any suggestion will be great.

  • I doubt the result is returned with such format. What is the actual format of result, not an encoded one. var_dump($result);
