Connecting to Gstreamer Pipeline using PyQt5 and opencv in a Windows environment
Background: I am working on a python 3.6.6 project right now in an Anaconda environment and using Qt, PyQt5, and OpenCV on Windows 10. Part of the project requires me to be able to connect to a Gstreamer pipeline in order to show streaming video in my gui. I'm already using OpenCV 3.4.2 to show local videos, but it seems the OpenCV Library installed with the Anaconda Navigator doesn't build with gstreamer. It does get built with ffmpeg though. For the past few days I have been trying to build OpenCV with gstreamer so that I can put it in my Anaconda environment. I have also tried to build the py-gst bindings on windows as well and a few other things. I have downloaded and installed gstreamer-1.0 and gstreamer-1.0 devel. I have been to countless websites and forums at this point but, Unfortunately everything I am trying ends up failing.
Will anyone that has run into this problem before and found a solution please tell me what you did or provide links to any documentation that helped you. At this point I'm willing to remove OpenCV from the program and rewrite what I have that is based around OpenCV. If this question is inappropriate let me know and I'll promptly remove it. Right now I'm a little sleep deprived from trying to solve this issue so if any more details are needed let me know and I'll answer them the best I can.
