Reset Listoftheorems for each part

0

My personal style for taking notes is to make them in separate files, then combine them all into a book for the end of the semester, so that I can easily share my notes with my fiends that have multiple classes with me.

Since these are mathematical classes, I use the listoftheorems command from thmtools to list out the important bits at the beginning of each file. This works perfectly when compiling them separately, but when I combine them together, it grabs all of the definitions from each of the different parts. How can I fix this?

Main File

This is a MWE of my main file

documentclass[12pt,oneside]{book}
%Packages
usepackage[utf8]{inputenc}
usepackage{amsthm,amsmath,amssymb,amsfonts}
usepackage{thmtools}
usepackage{subfiles}
usepackage[hidelinks]{hyperref}

makeatletter
@addtoreset{chapter}{part}
makeatother

usepackage[left=1in,right=1in,top=1in,bottom=1in, bindingoffset=0in]{geometry}

%Define special math environments/Symbols
declaretheorem[numberwithin=chapter]{theorem}
declaretheorem[numberwithin=chapter]{example}
declaretheorem[numberwithin=chapter]{definition}
declaretheorem[numberwithin=chapter]{lemma}

begin{document}

tableofcontents

part{Analysis III}
subfile{Sections/analysisIII.tex}
part{Astrophysics}
subfile{Sections/astrophysics.tex}
end{document}

Subfile MWE

Both of the subfiles shown, analysisIII.tex and astrophysics.tex are essentially like the following.

documentclass[../main.tex]{subfiles}
setlength{parindent}{0pt}
renewcommand{listtheoremname}{List of Theorems and Definitions}

begin{document}
listoftheorems[ignoreall,show={theorem,definition,lemma}]

begin{definition}[Analysis Definition]
This is a definition
end{definition}

begin{theorem}[Analysis Theorem]
This is a theorem
end{theorem}

end{document}

Current Output

Here is the output that I want at the beginning of each file, after being combined: Desired Output

And I am instead getting: Current Output
