Randomly lose write permissions on Windows 10 when trying to write to Ubuntu 18.04 network share, setup via...

0

So I've shared a few folders via GUI on Ubuntu 18.04. I have a hard drive in Ubuntu machine, ext4, and I'm accessing and writing to it from Windows 10. Everything was working correctly, I transferred a lot of data, but suddenly I lost the ability to write to one of the shared folders from Windows. After a while, it began working again, but now I've lost write permissions to a different folder! I just don't know what to do or think anymore. I get a message on Windows: Destination folder access denied, You need permissions to perform this action.

I tried looking into smb.conf, but it has no entries related to the folders that I have shared. Is this normal? How does Nautilus shares work?

My hard drive is mounted in /mnt/hdd

Folders are /mnt/hdd/folder1,2 etc..
