I have a problem when using

draw[thin, ->]

I do not recognize the symbol "->". And I can not graph the arrows.

It should be noted that if I use

draw[thin, ->]

If I can graph the straight line.

    Welcome ro TeX.SX. With the current information, it is difficult to say the issue. Please provide a minimal working example.

  • Any chance you have a strange character in your actual code? E.g. something that looks like a > but is not?

  • I don't think it's possible to do any more than guess at a solution here. Have you been able to get it working? If not, can you paste the entire error message from the log file into your question? Does JPi's code below work for you?

If you copy this exact code into your ΤeΧ editor and compile it, does it not work? If not, then please show us the log file.

documentclass{article}

usepackage{tikz}

begin{document}

begin{tikzpicture}
draw[thin, ->] (0,0)--(3,2);
end{tikzpicture}

end{document}

posted as an answer because of the code fragment.
