My laptop is a dual boot ubuntu alongside windows 10. I did clean windows 10 setup 1 month ago. And then install ubuntu 16.4.03 alongside windows 10. Then I upgraded ubuntu version to 18.04.

It was working well till 3days ago.

Suddenly it became slow. I disable startup softwares, did defragmentation, did disk clean up.....

And I noticed that I could not uninstall the utorrent.

After some hours of that my pc showed the message " your pc ran into a problem". I tried reboot but everytime I saw the same message.

Then I tried startup repair using live usb. It failed. I also tried "chkdsk /r c:" command in the troubleshooting command promp and restore previous Versio.
I also didn’t work.

Now what should i do? I checked the data using "try ubuntu" option. it will be a great help if I can recover the pc. Thanks in advance.

  • Your Windows problem has nothing to do with the dual boot or Ubuntu. For question about Windows please post at superuser.com.
