vscode kept showing linter pylint is not installed

I have installed vsCode together with Python Extention, python2.7 and pylint with pip install pylint and configured the python.linting.pylintPath in .vscodesettings.json but vsCode kept showing error: linter pylint is not installed
how to fix that?

Did you set"python.linting.enabled": true,"python.linting.pylintEnabled": true, and did you make sure you installed into the Python interpreter you selected (your settings don't show any interpreter being specified).
