How to add “Remember Me” functionality in ASP.NET Identity, OWIN and OAuthAuthorizationServerProvider

0

I need to have Remember Me functionality using OAuthAuthorizationServerProvider and AuthenticationManager.

This is how the provider authenticates:

    public override async Task GrantResourceOwnerCredentials(OAuthGrantResourceOwnerCredentialsContext context)
{
var userManager = context.OwinContext.GetUserManager<ApplicationUserManager>();

ApplicationUser user = await userManager.FindAsync(context.UserName, context.Password);

if (user == null)
{
context.SetError("invalid_grant", "El nombre de usuario o la contraseña no son correctos.");
return;
}

ClaimsIdentity oAuthIdentity = await user.GenerateUserIdentityAsync(userManager,
OAuthDefaults.AuthenticationType);
ClaimsIdentity cookiesIdentity = await user.GenerateUserIdentityAsync(userManager,
CookieAuthenticationDefaults.AuthenticationType);

AuthenticationProperties properties = CreateProperties(user.UserName);
AuthenticationTicket ticket = new AuthenticationTicket(oAuthIdentity, properties);
context.Validated(ticket);
context.Request.Context.Authentication.SignIn(cookiesIdentity);
}

Even worst, context that is received in the parameter, does not contain a flag that indicates the user selected Remember Me checkbox in login form.

Any hint to do this?

Regards
Jaime
