Ubuntu 18.04, laptop not waking up externally (Wireless keyboard)

0

So, I converted my laptop to a desktop because its screen was damaged. It's a dell. Everything works well except that I am unable to wake up the laptop via wireless keyboard or mouse once it is suspended. I have tried few answers given here but none of them seem to be working. The thing is it wakes up if I open the lid even a little bit and the screen on the monitor shows up.

Any help will be appreciated.

Thank you.

  • Because suspension is what it is and because wireless keyboards or mice work the way they work, it's really not possible to wake up from suspension using those devices.
