How can I update an xcode extension target CFBundleVersion number?

0

I'm required by apple to ensure the extension target CFBUNDLEVersion matches my app target version. To update my app target version, I use a run script which does the following:

DSYM_INFO_PLIST="${DWARF_DSYM_FOLDER_PATH}/${DWARF_DSYM_FILE_NAME}/Contents/Info.plist"
buildNumber=$ENV_BUILD_NUMBER
stringLength=${#buildNumber}

if [ $stringLength -ne 0 ]; then
echo "Updating build number to $buildNumber"
/usr/libexec/PlistBuddy -c "Set :CFBundleVersion $buildNumber" "${TARGET_BUILD_DIR}/${INFOPLIST_PATH}"
/usr/libexec/PlistBuddy -c "Set :CFBundleVersion $buildNumber" "${SRCROOT}/AppServiceExtension/Info.plist"
else
echo "Missing build number, skip updating"
fi

This updates my app target successfully, however it does not update the AppServiceExtension/Info.plist CFBundleVersion.

How can I get this runscript to update the AppServiceExtension CFBundleVersion?
