I am using memoir class.
I use this command:
usepackage[italian]{babel}
...
renewcommandthechapter{Capitolo arabic{chapter}}
But I get
How to remove the last dot in the chapter title "Capitolo"?

My fault. I had another command in another file!
renewcommand*{printchapternum}{chapnumfont Large thechapter.space}
