How to use Google Drive properly between 3 systems?

0

I have some issues with using my Google Drive amongst 3 different systems.

Why do I want this?: I would like to keep everything in the cloud at all time, but some of my programs can't load directly from Google Drive, so every now and then I need local copies that then synchronise to Google Drive.

My problem:
I have a local folder on laptop1. I right click it and I make it synchronise with my Google Drive. This works fine BUT the folder doesn't get added to my main Google Drive, but to my Google Drive Computer folder.
If I go onto laptop2, and open my Google Drive map (not on a web browser), I can't see this map.

Solution1: Take the map in the Google Drive Computer folder, and place it in the main Google Drive folder. If I then go on laptop2, I can see the folder. Problem here is that if I make a change locally on laptop1 in that folder, it does NOT update to the folder in the main Google Drive map thus laptop2 can't see the changes (this is weird because I thought that this was the whole point of a cloud service).

Second question: if I have a local map on laptop1, and I right click it and then click synchronise with Google. If I then look in my local Google Drive map (so not on the webpage) I can't see that map. Is this because Google Drive knows that that map is from my laptop, so it doesn't double-show it?

So, what do I actually want now?:
I have 3 systems, let's say laptop1, laptop2 and laptop3. They all have a Google Drive installed so that I get the main Google Drive folder in the File Explorer. I want ALL my files (so from laptop1, laptop2 and laptop3) to be in the Google Drive at all times when I visit it through a web browser. I also want some maps to be stored locally on each laptop and set the synchronise function on. If a change is made on either 3 of the systems, it should push it to the Google Drive and if that folder is also locally installed on another laptop, it should update it too.

Is this possible?

EXAMPLE:
Laptop1 has a local folder. Laptop1 syncs this folder to Google Drive. It gets put in the Google Drive Computer folder. I replace it in the Google Drive main folder. I make a change to this folder on Google Drive webpage. Among all Google drives, web and local, the change comes through. But on laptop1 (the local folder that it all started with) the changes haven't synced.
Why is this?
