I'm using create react app and express to try and run a basic app on aws Lambda.
I have my root route setup to load index.html from the build directory. The general setup looks like this:
app.use('*/static/css', express.static(path.join(__dirname, 'build', 'static', 'css')));
app.use('*/static/css', express.static(path.join(__dirname, 'build', 'static', 'css')));
app.get('/', function(req, res) {
res.sendFile(path.join(__dirname, 'build', 'index.html'));
});
Running the app locally and navigating to "/" renders the react app without any issues, but when running the lambda function and navigating to "/" I get a bunch of 403 responses back for files such as /statics/css/main.fd115b7.chunk.css
and other javascript and css files within my build directory.
I tried to add the express.static lines in the code above hoping that it would enable the build files to be loaded. This allows me to navigate to /statics/css/main.fd115b7.chunk.css
, but I can't get the file from the root route.
