I have a logitech USB Microphone that I want to use with my linux machine(Kubuntu 18.04).The thing is:
1.My Internal Mic works great
2.My headset mic works great albeit with disturbing noises at the back

When I connect my USB Mic however,I get nothing. The Mic shows up in Pulse Audio
Pulse Audio Control
.This is the output i get from running lsusb:

lsusb
Bus 002 Device 003: ID 046d:0a03 Logitech, Inc. Logitech USB Microphone
Bus 002 Device 002: ID 8087:0020 Intel Corp. Integrated Rate Matching Hub
Bus 002 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub
Bus 001 Device 005: ID 1c7a:0801 LighTuning Technology Inc.
Fingerprint Reader
Bus 001 Device 004: ID 0bdb:190a Ericsson Business Mobile Networks BV F3307 Mobile Broadband Module
Bus 001 Device 006: ID 0489:e010 Foxconn / Hon Hai
Bus 001 Device 003: ID 0402:9665 ALi Corp. Gateway Webcam
Bus 001 Device 002: ID 8087:0020 Intel Corp. Integrated Rate Matching Hub
Bus 001 Device 001: ID 1d6b:0002 Linux Foundation 2.0 root hub

And this is what i got from dmesg:

...
s
[ 2.016099] usb 1-1.1: new high-speed USB device number 3 using ehci-pci
[ 2.036023] usb 2-1.4: new full-speed USB device number 3 using ehci-pci
[ 2.146886] usb 2-1.4: New USB device found, idVendor=046d, idProduct=0a03
[ 2.146890] usb 2-1.4: New USB device strings: Mfr=1, Product=2, SerialNumber=0
[ 2.146893] usb 2-1.4: Product: USB Microphone
[ 2.146896] usb 2-1.4: Manufacturer: Logitech
...

As you might have guessed, I have searched everywhere for a solution, I read a lot of questions like these but most of them either have a different mic or their problem is not like mine(most of them cant get the mic to be recognised). If anyone can help me with this i'd really appreciate it.

PS: I simply cant change the 'input source' to my usb mic as that option is not there,On My Screenshot, the Port: Dropdown that reads microphone doesn't have any other options other than 'Microphone(Unplugged)'
