AWSCLI put-parameter command issue in Windows 64 bit. Store a value which has multiple lines

I am trying to store a parameter which has a value in multiple lines like below. Command line terminal in windows is considering new line as end of the command and not executing multiple lines. Is there a work around? 



aws ssm put-parameter --name "testKey" --value "FirstLineValue

(followed by a new line)SecondLineValue" --type SecureString


I have tried ^ option but it doesn't work either. Also, I tried this in Powershell. No luck there too. I am using Windows 64 bit. Thanks in advance

I think I'm fairly happy with the spacing around "A chapter", so I'd really like titles without descenders (e.g. "Contents") to have the same vertical spacing as "A chapter" below the title.
