WPA2-PEAP connection without domain with WICD
I'm having issues with network manager using my University network, it constantly reconnects to different AP's so I thought I would try WICD. The network uses WPA2 Enterprise PEAP but I don't have an domain specified. The problem is that in WICD I can't specify a blank domain field. I found a guy having the exact same problem as me but I don't understand how he solved it: WICD WPA2-PEAP connection without domain
Do anyone know who he did it? If I look in /var/run/ there is a folder generated called wpa_supplicant when I press connect in WICD, but it disappears when it fails to connect. Not sure what to do here.
