Laptop doesn't suspend on lid close
I have 2018 laptop with i5-8300h and Elementary OS 5. I post here because Elementary is an Ubuntu-based distro. My machine runs on kernel 4.16.18 and I can't install something newer because it stops to detect my laptop battery and wifi. It doesn't suspend on lid close. However if I press button on the screen it suspends normally. I have tried to configure logind.conf but nothing changed. I know it looks like a duplicate, but I've read really huge amount of forums and exchange questions, but nothing has helped.
