18.04 microphone w/ google voice typing, works intermittently
When I use google docs voice typing, in order to start microphone function (even though I have tested it to confirm that it is working at that moment), I have to unplug and replug the usb cable of the camera/microphone. When I pause my recording and restart it, again I have to unplug the mic and replug it so that it records.
Just to emphasize, when the mic is not recording in google voice typing, I have confirmed that it is functioning in audacity and the sound settings.
