What is the `filedialog="@ByteArray(`… in ~/.config/Trolltech.conf?

0

This file seems to be related to Qt and used by KDE for widgets.

(1) Should it be present in a clean installation of Xubuntu (Ubuntu+XFCE)?

(2) Along with normal plaintext entries like doubleClickInterval=400 it contains filedialog="@ByteArray(... Why is it obfuscated and what is the plaintext of this string?

  • Going by this person's Trolltech.conf it seems to be storing arbitrary paths (maybe bookmarks shown in the file dialog?).
