helper:“clone” doesn't seem to be working
I want to see clone of box move but it doesn't seems to be doing so. On the other hand if I insert a paragraph inside <div>
, the paragraph content is getting cloned properly. Initially I wanted to move both <div>
(i.e red box) and <p>
. Is my jquery selector wrong?
$(function() {
$("#div1").draggable({
helper: "clone"
});
});
#div1 {
width: 100px;
height: 100px;
border: solid 2px black;
background: red;
}
<link rel="stylesheet" href="https://code.jquery.com/ui/1.12.1/themes/ui-lightness/jquery-ui.css">
<script src="https://code.jquery.com/jquery-3.3.1.min.js"></script>

The script works as expected (check the DOM while dragging in the developer tools). The only problem is, that the clone doesn't have the same id as the original element (they have to be unique) hence use a class for styling.

The script works as expected (check the DOM while dragging in the developer tools). The only problem is, that the clone doesn't have the same id as the original element (they have to be unique) hence use a class for styling.
