PySide: QtGui.QFileDialog - UNC Path issue
Is there any way to select an UNC path (something) via the QFileDialog? getExistingDirectoy() wont work for me (Windows7). Or is there some kind of workaround?
python qt unc qfiledialog

I don't know if it is helpful or not.
Please look at here 解決qt
1.As you said, getExistingDirectoy()
2.QUrl(the value)
To use QUrl()
instead of QUrl.fromLocalFile()
In more detail,you can see the solution of the link.
ty for your help. Sadly i have a different problem. If i try to select a UNC path i get a popup saying: "You can't open this location using this problem. Please try a different location." so as far as i understand i can not do anything to prevent that error :(
