Add Graphics to Ubuntu Server 16.04
I am running Ubuntu Server 16.04 on a small device. I need to develop a "graphic" program (that uses a small touch screen). I don't need a full desktop. I just need to be able to develop an application for the touch screen.
What packages would I need to add to server? And what graphics libraries do you recommend?
16.04 graphics c++

I'm not an expert, but I believe what you're looking for is called a standalone X session. Basically, there's a way to run programs without a DE or WM. (For graphics libraries you'll want to use GTK3 or Qt)
