How can I override Gnome theme while running Openbox?

0

I've recently installed Openbox on Ubuntu 18.04 and decided to tweak it. However, in some apps the default Gnome theme is displayed as is in Openbox session (even though I use Adapta Nokto theme both in Gnome and Openbox).

Example with Nautilus:

Is there any way to override this behaviour?

  • Could you explain a bit more? Does "in some apps the default Gnome theme is displayed as is in Openbox session" mean your just using the Openbox WM in a GNOME session or are you running a pure Openbox session?
