Automatic key pressing in Ubuntu 14.04 LTS laptop
I am facing a problem in my Laptop which is running Ubuntu 14.04 LTS with Windows 7 (dual boot). The problem is that my laptop continuously pressing key '1' or '6'. This problem occurs randomly at any time and when it happens I press that particular key and the problem temporarily stops. But again after a little while the problem repeats again. I don't know what to do, please help.

Welcome to Ask Ubuntu. Your problem sounds like a hardware issue to me, does it occur under windows too? If it does - it'll be hardware & I believe off-topic on this site. I'd open the laptop, possibly remove connector, look for dirt affecting mechanical function and replace if viable. With it removed, I'd probably boot system using external keyboard (& internal not connected) to confirm it's just the laptop keyboard, to ensure it's worth replacing... but this is off-topic & on assumption it's keyboard related. Software wise I'd explore it usingxev...
