ASP.NET MVC App Pool not working on deployment
I have an ASP.NET MVC 5 application deployed on IIS 8. Whenever I deploy files to the bin directory of the application, the site just spins and times out. Eventually I either have to get the admin to recycle the pool or wait out the 28 hours for the app pool to automatically recycle. This occurs whether the application is compiled in debug or release mode.
What should I be looking at to resolve this? I have just all the defaults set in my App Pool Advanced Settings.

Check the available logs, including the Windows event log on the server, and the IIS logs, and any other logging you might have. How you resolve it depends on why its stalling.
