Express.js GET request (out of public)
.everyoneloves__top-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__mid-leaderboard:empty,.everyoneloves__bot-mid-leaderboard:empty{ height:90px;width:728px;box-sizing:border-box;
}
i'm trying to make a .get from a JS file in root/public to another JS file in invoices. I'm using express.js to handle some post requests, so i have set-up
const express = require("express");
const app = express();
app.use(express.static("public"));
app.use(express.static("invoices"));
And everything works fine, just as long as i make post requests to root/public, or get requests to external apis, etc.
So far, i've tried with plain .get, .getScript, ajax.get, & even with fetch with promises and everything works up to the point that i try to leave the public folder via the urls. I've tried using full path, relative paths... basically, i've tried everything i could think of, but i always end up with GET http://127.0.0.1:3000/invoices/invoiceNum.js 404 (Not Found)
Can someone point me in the right direction, tell me what i'm doing wrong, what i'm missing ...?
javascript express get
