ubuntu 18.10 access windows drives on home network
i do not see this question addressed on this forum. i am using Ubuntu 18.10 and 18.04. neither have been able to access a windows drive on my home network. Ubuntu 14 on my old hard drive does very well. i have samba and related programs installed, to no avail. there seems to be something unique about Ubuntu from 17 and up. please note i desire Ubuntu 18 to work on my home network.
