18.04 LTS Unmounts external HDD when session locks
I have an external HDD I use for backups (rsync during night) and other stuff. On 16.04 it was mounted all the time and I did not have any problems. In 18.04 however, after I lock my session, the disk spins down and gets unmounted.
The mountpoint is /media/username/NameOfDisk and the device is /dev/dm-0
Is there a way to prevent this from happening?
BTW: I tried
sdparm --save --clear=STANDBY /dev/dm-0
and got
unable to access /dev/dm-0, ATA disk?
I also created a cron job that touched a file on the disk every minute, but it still unmounts.
