Functionality HP tilt pen on spectre x360 13-ae002ns
I just installed a fresh new Ubuntu 18.04 on my HP spectre x360 13-ae00ns. The basic use of the pen just works after the fresh installation but there are some features that do not.
What works:
- Input with the point part (and even pressure detection)
- It connects to bluetooth and the button in the middle of the pen is detected.
What does not work:
- The "back part" or "rubber" is detected but it just works as the point part: instead of erasing, it also writes on any handwritting program.
- If I go into tablet mode, and rotate screen, the display rotates with it but the input of the pen does not: If I click on some point is as if I was clicking on some "opposite point".
- The grenade or "rubber button" is not detected at all.
I would like a fix for this or a guide to see which conf file should I tweak to, at least, remap the functions of buttons. Also, I don't know if this is expected but the pen is not detected under the wacom table settings.
EDIT: the first point about rotating the screen was fixed after updating to 4.20 kernel. The "eraser" and the grenade button still do not work. Also, no input is recognized from a distance (it is connected through bluetooth though)
