Adding EVGA Titan X - lspci doesn't see it
I installed an EVGA Titan X video card. When I do an lspci
and search for nvidia
, evga
, or anything like that, I can't seem to find it. I have to use an older video card plugged in at the same time in order to be able to see anything on the screen. It's almost like Ubuntu (or the motherboard maybe) can't see the new card. The EVGA light is powered up on card so from what I can tell it is powered.
System facts:
PCI-E slots configured for Gen 3
* I plug in through HDMI
* The card takes both 6 pin and 8 pin power from the power supply (850 watts)
* Latest Ubuntu
* I don't have the latest nvidia drivers installed though.
Any debugging tips are appreciated.
