problem with a new graphic card (GeForce GT 710) in Kubuntu 18.04

I have a matherboard graphic card and a new (GeForce GT 710) graphic card: my monitor is now connected via VGA to this new one. Installed proprietary driver of my distro, Kubuntu 18.04.
I have a problem with screen off: the screen is off 3 sec, but after that is still active, amd I can see the screesaver image, very obscure and off-centered. After, off 3 sec., after on and so on.
I tried to remove nvidia driver, but with nouveau driver I have many crash (in particular Falkon, but not only).
So I reinstalled the nvidia driver, but the problem is not solved: always the same bug.
EDIT
This is my modified etc/default/grub line:
GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash i915.enable_rc6=0 i915.enable_fbc=1 i915.lvds_downclock=1 i915.semaphores=1 i915.enable_execlists=0"
I added this to avoid a crash problem when PC was in screen off. Maybe I have to re-modify that line?
EDIT
Modified that line, so: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash", but the problem is not fixed
EDIT
Modified grub, so: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="quiet splash nvidia-drm.modeset=1", but the problem is still not fixed
EDIT
Modified grub, so: GRUB_CMDLINE_LINUX_DEFAULT="nomodeset", but the problem is still not fixed
Thank you for your help.

This possibly won't happen with the GeForce GT 710 graphics card if you connect it to an HDMI monitor with an HDMI cable.

Thank you: in effect my monitor is connected via VGA (and can be connected only so), and I need the hdmi port for a second monitor (e-ink).

Am I correct in assuming that the second e-ink monitor is working properly?

I have not received it yet, it should arrive on the 4th or 5th of December...

Maybe the problem was the monitor: with another monitor (same PC) no problem!
