Ubuntu 16.04 Unable to switch to Nvidia Graphic Card
I am new to linux software. I am currently having issues switching from Intel Graphic Card to Nvidia Graphic Card. Im using a laptop with 2 graphic cards.
Current graphic card used: Intel® HD Graphics 620 (Kaby Lake GT2)
Other graphic card: Nvidia GM108M GEFORCE 940MX
Under Additional Driver,
I am currently using using NVIDIA binary driver - version 415.18 from nvidia-415 (opensource). However in my settings and details, the graphic card shown is only Intel 620 Kaby Lake GT2.
I have installed Nvidia x settings, however i cant seem to open it.
:~$nvidia-settings
ERROR: Unable to load info from any available system
Would appreciate any help and guide to solve this issue. Appreciate it very much.
Current OS Ubuntu 16.04.
