Cave Story on Lubuntu

I want to run Cave Story (official Linux port) on my old crappy laptop with Intel Atom (with integrated video card), 1GB RAM + 16GB swap and Lubuntu.
It seems game crash on startup with log:
"SDL_Init failed,0"
I tried to download some libsdl packages (many of them) but it still don't work.
I thinking it may be caused by Lubuntu itself (and it's LXQt environment), so maybe I should install Ubuntu?

I rather doubt it has anything to do with the DE. Is that all of the error message, or is there more?
