How to install, fglrx on (K)ubuntu 15.04 ? Starting version 219 AMD R9 290x

i have upgraded my Ubuntu 14.10 to Kubuntu 15.04 and as i thought the graphics driver would mess up.



I am looking for a step-by-step tutorial how to install fglrx on Kubuntu 15.04.



On 14.04 i had absolutely NO problems.
I just downloaded the driver from the AMD Homepage and compiled it and it ran perfectly.(...until i installed Wine)



I want to install this here . Ubuntu 15.04 Catalyst 15.3 Beta
by installing it via sudo apt-get install fglrx-updates

i have upgraded my Ubuntu 14.10 to Kubuntu 15.04 and as i thought the graphics driver would mess up.



I am looking for a step-by-step tutorial how to install fglrx on Kubuntu 15.04.



On 14.04 i had absolutely NO problems.
I just downloaded the driver from the AMD Homepage and compiled it and it ran perfectly.(...until i installed Wine)



I want to install this here . Ubuntu 15.04 Catalyst 15.3 Beta
by installing it via sudo apt-get install fglrx-updates

You can install it by running



sudo apt-get install fglrx-updates


According to install log, the kernel module does not build. And also you seem to have a wrong kernel for Kubuntu 15.04. The upgrade from 14.10 is not always smooth. That must be the reason.



This must be fixed by:



sudo apt-get install linux-generic

According to install log, the kernel module does not build. And also you seem to have a wrong kernel for Kubuntu 15.04. The upgrade from 14.10 is not always smooth. That must be the reason.

Remove that driver from console Ctrl+Alt+F1 by sudo apt-get purge fglrx*. Then reboot and try to install it again. And add terminal output of sudo apt-get install fglrx-updates to your initial post.

2 I'm trying to set the .DisplayMember property of a ComboBox in C#, but I want to bind it to multiple columns in the .DataSouce . My SQL looks like this: SELECT PersNbr, PersFirstName, PersMiddleName, PersLastName FROM Pers WHERE PersNbr = :persNbr; I'm saving this query in a DataTable so each column selected has it's own column in the Datatable . Is it possible to collect Nectar points via Trainline?

2 Since I am not eligible for any Railcard, the only available discount/bonus scheme is Nectar Card for me. GWR, SWR, LNER and Virgin Trains allow to collect Nectar points and I have already linked a card to my GWR account. A friend suggested me to use Trainline App, because it can search for bus tickets either. I had a look at the application, but could not see any option for Nectar.
