Failing using Cocoapods with static libraries

0

As static libraries are now supported for Swift using Cocoapods 1.5.0 I want to use the pod 'iosMath' with static libraries.

Therefore I omit 'use_frameworks' from my Podfile and instead add
pod 'iosMath', :modular_headers => true. In my ViewController it looks like this now:

import UIKit
import iosMath

class ViewController: UIViewController {

override func viewDidLoad() {
super.viewDidLoad()
print(iosMathVersionNumber)
// Do any additional setup after loading the view, typically from a nib.
}
}

But as compiling this code, I get the following error message:

ld: symbol(s) not found for architecture x86_64

clang: error: linker command failed with exit code 1 (use -v to see invocation)

Then I tried to add a new empty Swift-file to my pod as many suggested and updated Cocoapods to 1.6.0 Beta. But none of these methods worked. Do you have another suggestion what I can try ?
